RIRS (Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery) is a method of viewing the kidney through a fiberoptic endoscope.

This instrument is passed during surgery. Initially, this is used to check the interior body issues and supports conducting surgery. But its main role is to remove kidney stones.

The fiberoptic instrument is adaptable to use in the kidney system. This can easily go inside the kidney and ureter.

It has the bandwidth to visualise the different parts of the kidney. It has a thin laser fibre that can pass through the stone and turn into small particles. Later it becomes easy to wash out with the urinal flow.
